Product Overview

The Steady Rack bike storage rack is like no other garage storage rack on the market. It uses a patented glide-on wheel cradle system to load and hold 1 bike, and requires very little wall space.  This bike storage rack is deal for an apartment, office, garage, loft, etc.

The fully loaded Steady Rack can be folded to the side to preserve space and folds nearly flat to the wall when not in use.

Mount multiple units together to store many bikes in a small space (university dorm, apartment complex).

The Steadyrack bike storage rack comes with easy to use instructions and mounting hardware.  Drilling required.

Capacity:  1 bike up to 75 lbs.

Dimensions: 21" high x 5" wide x 25" deep.

Available in 3 models:

  • Classic - holds tires 20-29" up to 2.4" wide
  • Mountain - holds tires 20-29", 2.1-2.8" wide
  • Fender - holds bikes with fenders (and without fenders) and tires up to 2.4" wide
  • Fat Bike - holds 25-32" tires, 2.2 - 5.0" wide

Loading your bike could not be easier. Just pull the front wheel up and glide it into the wheel cradle. Once the tire starts to roll in, it is effortless to lift the bike into the storage position. The rear wheel chock holds rear wheel in place and protects the wall.

Space saving - The Steadyrack can be mounted on to any wall and conveniently swiveled to either side. Steadyracks can be installed side-by-side or dotted around the garage or even overlapped to store multiple bikes. And once the bikes are up on the wall, you can easily drive your car in to the garage or move around the space without tripping over obstacles.

No heavy lifting required - unlike other racks where lifting off the ground is required, anyone can place the bike in the guide and using a pushing and pulling action let the Steadyrack do the work.

Universal fit - it is suitable for most standard bikes and wheel sizes from small children's bikes to large mountain bikes. There are 2 versions, one for bikes with mudguards and one for bikes without.

Safe and easy to use - Virtually no risk of bikes falling over or falling out of the rack which makes it safer to use, versatile and it won't damage valuable property like cars or other bikes. It simplicity makes it ideal for whole family and the unique patented design enables you to store your bike with minimum effort and best of all you don't have to worry about moving bikes out of the way or trying to hold onto adjacent bikes while you try and remove yours. The pivoting action allows you to make space and easily remove your bike. Even the kids can do it without adult supervision.

Folds Away - When the rack is empty it folds up and clips into place removing any risk of someone injuring themselves walking into it.

Stable and secure - when the bike is in the rack it is secure and safe and cannot be dislodged easily. To deter thieves the bike can be locked into the rack using quality bike locks.

    Steadyrack bike racks

Posted by Andrew Forsell on Jun 17th 2021

Just finished installing 4 racks on the back wall of my garage. Took me a fairly long time to install because a cement wall. Once installed they look great and save a ton of space. My only issue is that the rear tire bracket should be wider so that when you rotate the bike and put the rear tire on the outside of the bracket the tire doesn't mark up the wall. I put a piece of rigid black cardboard under each bracket so it doesn't happen.
