The Rhino Rack Nautic Kayak Rack mounts directly into slotted crossbars and is fully lockable. This carrier comes complete with 4 rubber padded cradles designed to cushion your kayak.
Cradles are not only stylish and low profile, but simple to install and use.
Four tie-down straps are also included. A longer set for securing the bow and stern of the kayak to the vehicle and a padded set to secure your kayak to the cradles.
The Nautic is designed to mount into the slotted crossbars for a more integrated and streamlined fit. Fits the Rhino Rack Vortex bars, Thule AeroBlade bars,Whispbar crossbars, and some OEM slotted crossbars (BMW, Audi, Volvo).
Padded saddles are designed to fit a variety of hull shapes and provide 2.95" x 7.87" of contact surface area.
The Secure Core locking system locks the Nautic kayak rack to the roof rack crossbars.
UV protected, corrosion and mold resistant.

Side Loading Kayak Rack #580
Includes 4 rubber cradles and all tie down straps
The cradles can rotate 180 degrees to the side for easier loading. This can be especially useful if you have a hitch rack or trailer behind your vehicle.
Rear Loading Kayak Rack #581
Includes 2 rubber cradles + 2 felt covered cradles and all tie down straps
Allows you to conveniently load your kayak from the rear of your vehicle in a simple one person operation. The rear cradles are spring loaded and felt covered to enable easier kayak loading. The felt cradles are slippery when wet and allow the kayak to easily slide forward.
