The Rhino Rack Folding J Style Kayak Carrier is designed to transport your kayak on its side to save space and allow for other gear to be mounted on the other side of your roof rack. This kayak rack also folds down when not in use and includes a cradle for carrying paddles.
The universal hardware is compatible with Rhino roof rack systems, Thule racks, Yakima racks, Inno racks and most factory installed crossbars.
The Rhino folding kayak rack comes with everything you need to get on the water: 2 J-cradles (front and rear), stainless steel hardware, rubber tube padding, paddle holder, and 4 tie down straps.
Steel tubing construction with coating for protection.
Easy to install and remove.
NOTE: An Extension Piece (#S512X sold separately) can be added enabling you to transport a 2nd kayak on the other side of the carrier. No other kayak rack on the market offers this feature.
