Yakima Landing Pads (set of 2)

Yakima Landing Pads allow you to mount the Yakima Control Tower base rack on your vehicle's factory installed tracks, after market tracks (Leer, ARE), fixed mounting points (Honda Element), truck toppers, and Jeep hard tops.

Landing Pads are the base for the Control Tower roof rack. There are different Landing Pads designed to fit different shape & size factory tracks.

Landing Pads can be placed anywhere within the track for desired bar spread. Once the proper crossbar spread is selected and the Landing Pads are tighten down, the Control Tower rack installs in seconds, enabling you to transport any Yakima rack accessory.

Sold in pairs - 2 pair required to complete the Control Tower base rack system.

Easy installation and assembly. The Control Tower rack can be removed from the Landig Pad base in just seconds.

Landing Pad 1 will fit the factory installed tracks on all ARE and Leer toppers, and other vehicles as well.

Landing Pad 6 is a permanent mount that bolts to any fiberglass surface with underside access, such as truck toppers, tunneau covers, Jeep Hard tops, and campers. Drilling required.

Landing Pad 7 is a permanent mount that fastens to a metal roof with blind fasteners, when underside access is denied. Drilling Required.
