"Stomp the landing, not the approach."
Naxo alpine touring bindings have unparalleled uphill and downhill performance. Naxo's ergonomic Virtual Rotation System creates natural rolling stride and the burly, alpine-style toe & heel are compatible with all AT & downhill boots. These Swiss made AT bindings are DIN certified and release just like downhill bindings. This is the perfect binding for the hard-charger or for someone seeking that quiver-of-one ski and binding setup. The Naxo Triple Pivot makes touring feel completely natural. The initial pivot point is 65mm further back than other AT bindings. By leaning forward, the toepiece sinks, creating an opening angle of 12 degrees. The pivot then shifts forward. Up to this point, no energy is expended. The skier has only weighted the ball of their foot, not lifted the heel. Once the opening angle has reached 35 degrees, the pivot point moves forward again.
Naxo's triple-pivot VRS system makes trail breaking easy, as the tips of your skis rise to the snow surface while touring. Switchbacks are also made easier. Instead of awkward kick turns, just pull your foot back to change direction.
Adjustable climbing post has three positions, 0, 6, and 12 degrees, and is easily engaged with a ski pole.
