This is Eric Hjorleifson's ski. The EHP 193cm is intended for backcountry and deep powder skiing. Pro skier and designer, Eric Hjorleifson on the EHP: "I wanted a solid platform for stability at speed in variable snow, efficient floatation for stomping powder landings, and shapes that provoke confidence in all ski conditions."
The EHP 193 tips are shaped in a long gradual radius that is specially designed to provide maximum floatation which, although reducing the ski's effective edge, allows for quicker maneuverability in tight spots. The tails have a rocker design also allowing for increased floatation.
Eric also designed the graphics, and snapped the pic that is at the tail of each ski, while on a backcountry adventure.
-Megablock wood core
-ABS sidewalls
-2.2mm edges
-Di-cut sintered 2000 base
-Weighs 5.0 lbs

The relentless pursuit of Eric Hjorleifson's ski innovation has rallied an additional EHP length (186cm) for 2007. The new EHP 186cm is intended for backcountry and deep powder skiing. Pro skier and designer, Eric Hjorleifson on the EHP: "I wanted a solid platform for stability at speed in variable snow, efficient floatation for stomping powder landings, and shapes that provoke confidence in all ski conditions."
The EHP 186 tips are shaped with a long gradual radius that is specially designed to provide maximum floatation which, although reducing the ski's effective edge, allows for quicker maneuverability in tight spots. The tails have a rocker design allowing for increased floatation. The EHP 186 tail tapers significantly to perform as a pintail, allowing the tail to sink slightly deeper into the snow (keeping the tips up).
Eric also designed the graphics, and snapped the pic that is at the tail of each ski, while on a backcountry adventure.

Canadian ripper Eric Hjorleifson wanted to create the perfect powder tool. The 4frnt EHP 190 is designed to conquer the roughest mountains in all conditions. The waist and length give this ski just enough shape to carve and dice the crud but also stay afloat when the conditions get deep. The 190 is more traditionally shaped, whith moderate sidecut and slight camber, to utilize everyday resort conditions. A full wood core, reinforced mounting plate, sandwich construction and a die cut base round out this beast of a ski.
EHP designer, Eric Hjorleifson, had the following to say about the EHP: "I wanted a solid platform for stability at speed in variable snow, efficient flotation for stomping powder landings, and shapes that provoke confidence in all ski conditions."
Eric also designed the graphics and snapped the pic that is at the tail of each ski, while on a backcountry adventure.
