Canvasback of Idaho was started by an avid skier and dog owner from Ketchum, ID in 1991. People were becoming tired of ruining the back of their vehicle from dirty, hairy dogs, and muddy sporting equipment. The idea to manufacture a cargo liner to protect the back of the vehicle was hatched, and Canvasback was born.
